Mondo Cane (1962; English: Dog World) is a highly influential documentary directed by Italian filmmakers Paolo Cavara, Franco Prosperi and Gualtiero Jacopetti. A series of travelogue vignettes provide glimpses into cultural practices around the world with the intention to shock or surprise.
