Noor-un-Nisa Inayat Khan W.A.A.F. (George Cross, Croix de Guerre), was an Indian Princess who became an unlikely SOE agent and who was sent into France in october 1943. She was one of only three women who were awarded the George Cross for bravery in World War Two.
